It isn't everyday that your childhood BFF gets married!
I am so happy for Elizabeth and Colin and am overjoyed that I was able to share this special day with them in Chicago.
No wedding would be complete without a handmade wedding gift! This is the quilt I made the happy couple. I had originally started a completely different quilt, but was extremely unhappy with my boring color selection and the quality of the fabric I was using. Instead I went with my new favorite (the simple and modern) Giant Star from Jeni at In Color Order. I used Chicopee fabric.
We had a great time at the wedding!!!
