Simple patchwork

Last Wednesday afternoon I whipped up this simple patchwork top for a baby quilt. I used a Stitched in Color charm pack and Kona Ash that I cut to 5" squares. 

I love Stitched in Color by Malka Dubrawsky for Moda. I used this fabric once before on another quilt. I wish I had another layer cake to make a duplicate for myself. 

I hope to baste and quilt it this weekend. I actually have a few quilts that need basted, but right now I am having so much fun piecing. 

Tomorrow is devoted to sewing and I can't wait!!!
