Thanks, Mom!

Sorry it has been so quiet around here lately...My mom took my brothers and I to Jamaica for a week of bliss and relaxation. As part of her mother's day gift and a thank you for what I know will be an amazing trip, I made her a set of pillows. Theses six pillows will make a home in her living room: green walls and a pale yellow couch.

Here are the details on each of the pillows...
I made this pillow using the idea of a stacked coins quilt. All fabric is from a charm pack of California Girl by Fig Tree Quilts for Moda. I quilted this one using wavy lines.

This pillow is made from another Fig Tree Quilts line for Moda, Butterscotch & Roses. I quilted it with an all-over stipple. It is pretty boring compared to the others, but my mom picked out this fabric a long time ago for couch pillows.

Half square triangle star using the same charm pack as before. This one is quilted using straight lines.

2.5" patchwork squares. Fabrics are from California Girls charm pack and many scraps I had lying around. Again, straight line quilting.

The red fabric is from Ruby by Bonnie and Camille for Moda - I absolutely adore this fabric line!

The fabrics from this were all leftover from other things. The bottom right is a scrap that i got in a scrap bag from a local fabric store.
